Baglio Fontana -  Palizzolo 

The Baglio Fontana farm dates from the late 1700s and has been restored with care by the original Fontana family from Trapani in the northwest corner of the island - an ideal touring base for Sicily.

The Baglio Fontana has been transformed from an ancient, ancestral baglio farm property into accommodation for guests. The stone-walled structure with large, inner courtyard originally housed everything from the family residence, farmer’s quarters, oil and wine press, to barns and stalls. On the outskirts of a small town, the huge, front doors of this fortress farm open to a stone courtyard. The courtyard leads to a large, rustic, beamed dining room with fireplace, and an ancient oil stone press, where dishes from typical, local recipes using all local farm products are served to guests.

The austere, main villa has 6 guestrooms. Additional loft bedrooms and ground floor apartments are located in another section. The farm still produces wine, honey, and olive oil. Comfortable rooms, all with air conditioning, have new wood furnishings, bathrooms, and smart plaid fabrics. A cozy living room in the main villa, decorated with family antiques and paintings, is where guests gather after dinner to chat. An inviting pool is found in the large garden. Minumum stay: 2 nights.

B&B   Ai Lumi  -   Trapani

The B&B is situated in the historical heart of Trapani in a 18th century palace. It is equipped with every comfort, private bath, Tv in room, air- conditioning and heating.

Near the B&B there are greats cultural and historical interest places oi the city, the sea with wonderful beach and the Egadi islands, Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, just off the coast, very close at hand to enjoy in all season of the year.

The well-protected harbor handles large consignments of salt gathered in the saltpans just south of the town and tuna fish processed at the important local canning factory. From B&B is easy to reach many typical pubs and night-clubs.

Apartments

Small apartments located in Trapani historical centre main road, and setted in a wonderful baroque building. They have 2 to 5 beds and each kitchen is totally furnished with cutlery, pots and all necessities.

Hotel Carmine - Marsala

Hotel Carmine is a beautiful 3-star property located in the heart of Marsala, a small seaport city located in Sicily.

This city hotel was opened in December 2005 and it is ideally located next to the monastery Convento del Carmine in the historical centre of the city. The main shopping streets are just around the corner and so are the streets where the Italians do their evening 'passegiata' to see and to be seen.

Hotel Carmine has 28 rooms including double, single, twin, family room and triple. All the rooms feature views of the square and of the interior private garden. The service in the hotel is excellent and they serve a rich breakfast for Italian standards.

Trapani airport is only 25 minutes drive and there are plenty of things to see and do around Marsala. The beach is never far away. Furhermore it is great to visit the Egadi islands, the wine cellars of Florio, the archeological sites of Segesta and Selinunte, the salt lakes and the island of Mothia, Trapani and Erice.

Hotel Elimo, Erice

Hotel Elimo is situated in the heart of the historic centre of the medieval town Erice. A beautiful typical Sicilian village surrounded by green hills with amazing views to the sea and along Sicilies interesting coast lines. Hotel Elimo is a small charming hotel, run by the chef/owner Carmelo Tilotta, an entertaining host.

Meals and buffet breakfast are served in the veranda restaurant with excellent views as far as the Egadi Islands. The bedrooms are stylish furnished with classic Sicilian furniture and the public areas like the lounge, bar, restaurant terrace and small garden are very pleasant. The hotel has only 20 rooms and therefore has a private intimae atmosphere. Parking is available in the public car park, only 100 meters from the hotel.

Hotel Mira Spiaggia, San Vito lo Capo

This hotel is situated right on argubaly the best beach in Sicily. The sea at San Vito lo capo, the far noth-west corner of Sicily, has crystal clear shallow water, sandy beaches and great panoramas.

The small town is full of lively activity in the summer months and there are plenty of restaurants on walking distance to choose from.

The hotel MiraSpiaggia (enjoy the beach) has a reserved beach area exclusively for its guests, is right in front of the Hotel building. There are parasols and sun loungers reserved for each room. Everything is included in the room price.

The superior rooms have a small balcony overlooking the sea. The standard rooms, don’t have sea view, but within 50 meters you are at the beach. The hotels bar, restaurant and terrace are right in front of the sea where you can taste traditional dishes of the local and Mediterranean cuisine.

The protected nature reserve ’lo zingaro’ can be reached by car or by boat. It is an  unique coastal nature reserve with many hidden bays, beaches and well kept walking trails.

Locanda al Moro, Sciacca

Locanda al Moro is situated in the historic centre of Sciacca, a characteristic fishermen’s town in the south of Sicily. Locanda Al Moro is a small boutique hotel, with only ten rooms, all spacious and with modern stylish furnishing.  

The hotel is housed is a white arabic style building, built in 13th century.You find locanda al Moro in a narrow alley, just 200 meters from the town square and in the heart of town. From the town square, decorated with palm trees you overlook the fishing harbor and there are some of the best ice parlors in Sicily. On Friday and Saturday, the town is packed with people doing their evening passegiata, enjoying the great sunsets.
