Fattoria Mose, Mose/Agrigento

Fattoria Mose ( The Mosè farm)  is 4 kilometers from the Valley of Temples in Agrigento and 3 kilometers from the sea. The Fattoria Mose consists of a number of estate buildings built around three large courtyards: the main house, built in the early 1800's, gives on to the largest courtyard, the second is dedicated to the activities of the working farm and the third is surrounded by the old farm buildings which have now been converted into authentic holiday accommodation.

The family running the farm has been running it already since the 18th century. Guests feel very welcome and  ‘at home’ in this Sicilian atmosphere. There are plenty of of opportunities to taste the local produce, all organically produced, like oranges, almonds, pistachios, fruit and vegetables, wheat and extra virgin olive oil in a very old olive's wood, home made marmalades and jellies and sweet liqueurs.

There are only 7 rooms at Fattoria Mose, an excellent location for those who like to experience Sicilian hospitality, stay close to Sicily’s main cultural attraction, the Valley of the Temples and not far from the southern beaches of Sicily.
